About Me
My name is Aimee Marler and I am a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I have lived in Chattanooga my entire life and love the city. Ever since I was younger I thought I wanted to be a teacher. Through helping at my church's nursery and children's ministry, observation hours, working at after school care, and PDS at Brown Academy in Fall 2012, I truly love working with kids and cannot wait to start teaching.
I am majoring in Early Childhood Education: Pre-K through 3rd grade. I am also adding my middle grades endorsement for 4th through 8th grade in Mathematics and Social Studies. I graduate in May 2015 and plan on teaching upper elementary here in Chattanooga or North Georgia.
This site is a virtual portfolio of my educational road so far. Here you will find documents such as observation records, class reflections, and resume. While I am in no way an expert in teaching and education, I look forward to the journey before me and what lies ahead in future classrooms.
